Overview: The CSSD Technician is responsible for the cleaning, disinfection, packing, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments, medical equipment, and supplies used throughout the hospital. The technician ensures that all reprocessing activities are performed in accordance with infection control guidelines and hospital protocols to prevent healthcare-associated infections.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Receive soiled instruments from OTs, ICUs, wards, and procedure rooms.
  • Perform manual and mechanical cleaning of instruments using ultrasonic washers, washer-disinfectors, or enzymatic solutions.
  • Inspect instruments for damage or malfunction before sterilization and report to supervisor if needed.
  • Prepare and pack surgical instrument sets as per standard protocols and surgical lists.
  • Operate and monitor sterilizers (Steam/Autoclave, ETO, Plasma, etc.) ensuring proper loading techniques.
  • Use and document results of chemical and biological indicators to validate sterilization effectiveness.
  • Maintain sterility of packed instruments until dispatch and store sterilized instruments in designated clean areas maintaining first-in-first-out (FIFO) system
  • Issue and dispatch sterile supplies as per departmental requests and maintain records.
  • Maintain separation of sterile and non-sterile zones and prevent cross-contamination.
  • Participate in internal audits and follow SOPs as per infection control and accreditation guidelines
  • Report any equipment malfunction or deviation in process immediately.
  • Adhere to infection prevention protocols including proper PPE usage and hand hygiene.
  • Ensure safe handling of sharps and contaminated instruments.
  • Assist in the proper segregation and disposal of biomedical waste generated in CSSD.
  • Cooperate with OT nurses, ICU staff, and other departments to meet their sterile supply requirements.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma in CSSD / Sterilization Technology Or a Certificate course in CSSD from a recognized institution.
  • 5+ years of experience working in CSSD in a hospital. Familiarity with modern sterilization equipment and SOPs

Job Overview:

The Manager (IT) – will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation, configuration, integration, support, and optimization of the Hospital Information System across clinical, operational, and administrative departments. This role ensures that the HIS platform supports clinical documentation and hospital operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage implementation and support of HIS modules such as EMR, OPD/IPD management, nursing, pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, OT management, billing, etc.
  • Act as a bridge between clinical teams, hospital operations, and the HIS vendor to ensure implementation as per hospital’s requirements.
  • Conduct business process mapping and gap analysis; document current and future workflows.
  • Oversee integration with medical equipment, and interfaces with third-party systems (Lab machines, LIS, RIS, PACS, etc.) & data migration( if any)
  • Ensure user training, change management, and adoption support across all departments.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues.
  • Manage system access, authorizations, and audit logs in collaboration with IT Security team.
  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance with healthcare standards (like NABH, ABDM), and privacy regulations.
  • Prepare user guides and SOPs; support training and capacity building for staff.
  • Manage change requests, upgrades, and patch deployments in coordination with vendor.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or MCA or equivalent.
  • 8-10 years (minimum 5 years in HIS implementation in a healthcare setting)
  • Strong understanding of hospital workflows and clinical terminologies.
  • Hands-on experience with major HIS platforms
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of APIs, HL7 and other healthcare data standards is preferred.

Job Overview: Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services by developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance programs aligned with the regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Devise and establish a hospital's policies, procedures, and standards for quality assurance and improvement based on regulatory standards of NABH/JCI.
  • Making sure the healthcare facility adheres to all relevant regulations and standards, including those related to patient safety, infection control, and documentation. 
  • Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures of NABH/JCI.
  • Coordinating and leading the accreditation process for the healthcare facility, ensuring compliance with standards set by accrediting bodies. 
  • Act as a link between hospital and NABH/JCI for accreditation process
  • Training of hospital staff for NABH/JCI and other hospital wide audits

Qualifications:

  • Full time PG Degree in Hospital Administration
  • 7+ years of experience in the field of Hospital quality management
  • Should be well versed with NABH/JCI standards
  • Individuals possessing Certifications in Healthcare Quality would be preferred
