Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Planning and Recruitment:

  • Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws, NABH standards, and JCI requirements related to HR practices.
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to reflect regulatory changes and best practices.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to monitor compliance with HR policies and accreditation standards, initiating corrective actions as needed.
4. Performance Management and Development:
  • Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and professional development planning.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement strategies, career development opportunities, and succession planning.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and promote continuous learning in alignment with hospital objectives.
5. Compensation and Benefits Administration:
  • Administer comprehensive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to maintain market competitiveness in salary structures and benefit offerings.
  • Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness, collaborating with finance to resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
6. HR Analytics and Reporting:
  • Utilize HR analytics to track and analyse key metrics, trends, and workforce data, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on HR performance, compliance status, and strategic initiatives.
  • Recommend and implement improvements based on data analysis to optimize HR strategies and enhance organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • MBA in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience and minimum 5 years of experience in leadership/similar role in the healthcare sector (preferably 500 + bedded hospital).
  • Experience working in NABH/JCI accredited hospital or familiarity with accreditation standards is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with a proven ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR management tools.
