Overview: The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients to ensure their safety, comfort and recovery.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients based on individual care plans.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions to the physician or charge nurse.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Identify and report the critical alerts as per the protocol set by the hospital.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
• Ensure proper infection control practices and maintain hygiene standards.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medication use and health conditions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform life-saving interventions when necessary.
• Participate in training programs and continuous professional development.
• Follow hospital policies, protocols, and safety regulations.
• Any other duty assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualification & Experience:

• GNM / B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid Nursing Registration in State/Indian Nursing Council. Shall have to register with Delhi Nursing Council in case of other state registration.
• 0–3 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical observation skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of hospital safety and infection control standards.
