Overview: The MGPS technician is responsible for daily monitoring, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of MGPS distribution and alarm systems. The role will assists in MGPS takeover & management, regular audits, and supports emergency MGPS activities as required.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Monitor pressure gauges, alarms, and valve operations in real-time.
• Check terminal units and alert system status across ICU’s, OT’s &Wards.
• Perform leak tests and functional tests of valves and outlets.
• Assist in manifold operations and gas refilling schedules.
• Maintain logbooks for alarm events and pressure variations.
• Report anomalies immediately to the MGPS Manager.
• Support biomedical equipment requiring gas inputs.
• Any other duty assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualification & Experience:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in hospital MGPS systems preferred.
