Over 40 million beneficiaries of the community were helped by the said Foundation which through its Health City Project in North Delhi aims to revolutionize the healthcare industry by setting new standards for patient centric treatment by incorporating the principles of oneness and service to humanity.
  • This prestigious Sant Nirankari Health City (SNHC) is looking for a passionate and experienced Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) who will oversee the recruitment, onboarding, induction, training and seamless nursing operations at SNHC. This role is responsible for the strategic planning, development, and implementation of nursing policies and procedures, ensuring the highest quality of patient-care.

Key Responsibilities:             

  • Leadership and Management:
    • Evaluate and recruit nursing staff, ensuring that they meet the required standards of care.
    • Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the nursing staff and ensure that the nursing department operates efficiently and effectively.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans for the nursing department in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
    • Ensure in-service training programs.
  • Quality Improvement and Patient Safety:
    • Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes and develop quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided.
    • Ensure nursing services compliance with regulatory agencies and accreditation bodies, and implement evidence-based practices and standards of care.
    • Promote patient safety by monitoring adverse events and implementing corrective actions with their root cause analysis to prevent recurrences.
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage the nursing department budget, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately.
    • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high-quality care.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement interdisciplinary plans of care.
    • Communicate with patients, families, and staff to promote understanding and engagement in patient care.
  • Training and Development
    • Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff to promote professional development and enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
    • Promote nursing research and the integration of evidence-based practice into clinical care.
  • Qualifications and Requirements:
    • B. Sc. Nursing or Equivalent, preferably from top 10 NIRF ranked colleges.
    • Nursing Registration in State/Indian Nursing Council
    • At least 20 years of nursing experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership role in a 200+ bedded Hospital or at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a 500+ bedded Hospital / Healthcare Institute.
    • Expertise in implementation of NABH and Nursing Excellence Standards.
    • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
