AGM/DGM-Finance (JD-0029)
Overview: The AGM/DGM– Finance is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s financial planning, risk management, financial reporting, compliance, and strategic support.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- Strategic planning and management of financial services across the hospital.
- To be lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- To be support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- To be maintain align financial goals with organizational objectives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with statutory requirements including tax filings,
corporate laws, and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP).
- Oversee internal and external audits, coordinate with auditors. (Tax audits, Vendor audits, statutory & compliance audits).
- To be monitor and manage company’s cash flow, banking relationships, and investment strategies.
- To be optimize capital structure and working capital management.
- Supervise treasury operations including fund allocation and forex exposure.
- To be identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure internal controls are robust and continuously improved.
- Monitor insurance, legal, and contractual financial implications.
- Oversee documentation audits to ensure completeness, legibility, and compliance with legal and accreditation norms.
- Oversee formulation of SOC , revenue cycle management , patient billing
- Ensure timely and optimized collection from patients , TPA etc.
- Foster a high-performance culture with mentor finance team members and operations.
- Develop talent through coaching, training, and succession planning.
- Lesioning with banks, financial institutions, auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Promote professional development, and evidence-based practices.
- Any other duty assigned by the reporting manager.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.com with CA/ICWA or equivalent.
- 13-15 years of progressive experience in finance of a hospital set up.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a senior leadership and managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Leadership ability with effective communication and stakeholder management.
- High integrity and commitment to organizational values.
